Engine oil teperatures are key to maintaining a healthy engine as well as performance. Under hard driving conditions oil temperatures naturally raise as a greater heat is generated from the faster moving engine components. With oil temperatures greatly increased the viscosity of the oil can thin lessening its ability to efficiently lubricate precious engine components which eventually leads to premature wear and in extreme cases engine failure. Our cooler kit has been specifically designed to combat the above problem and ensure your temperatures maintain a safe level. Choosing only the best possible components our kit not only cures rising engine temperatures but is built to last with no compromise on quality. Each RCM oil cooler kit is supplied with the choice of either a 10 or 19 Row Setrab Core. Setrab’s cores are renowned for strength and quality, with working temperatures from -40?C to 150?C and a maximum burst pressure of 37 Bar(g), these coolers are more than qualified for the job and will provide long term reliability as well as consistent performance. Leading Aeropquip manufacturers Goodridge produce pre-assembled lines to our specification using their latest -8 200 Series stainless steel braided nitrile hose. Designed to Goodridge?s exacting specifications this hose has been supplied to motorsport racing champions for many years. 200 Hose provides essential protection and resistance to high pressure, temperature, vibration, fire risks and chafing. It is constructed of a seamless synthetic CPE inner with an integral stainless steel braid and a high tensile stainless steel outer braid. 200 Series hose has the highest corrosion and fire resistance threshold of any stainless braided nitrile hose available, but lets not stop there! In addition our lines are coveRed with a silicone coveRed sleeve which acts as a secondary fire retardant, insulator and chafe protector. With the fireproof sleeve having operating temperatures from -54?C to 260?C and short term fire protection of up to an impressive 1090?C our lines surpass all safety, reliability and performance requirements. To finish, each line end is fitted with a Goodridge re-usable alloy fitting precisely engineeRed to fit 200 Series Hose. Their Aerospace standard Triple Seal/Double O-ring nitrile, cutter design ensures a secure, leak free connection every time and allow for any requiRed alignment with their 360-degree swivel ends. The final vital component is the Thermostatically Controlled Oil Sandwich Plate. ManufactuRed so the oil lines can be directed at multiple angles the plate proudly offers the best possible fitting for all variants of exhaust manifolds (including Twin Scroll, Equal Length and Un-Equal Length), something not offeRed by most competitors. Additionally there are two spare ports for those who wish to run oil temperature and pressure sensors (also supplied with blanks should these not be requiRed) along with a replacement extended union to allow fitment of both the plate and oil filter. The built in thermostat opens at 85?C allowing ample engine temperatures to be reached before further engine oil cooling is requiRed. In warm areas of the world power steering pump failures can be a common occurrence due to components overheating (even through normal everyday driving). This is also a common issue found on many race cars due to greater demands on the steering system which in turn generates higher temperatures, thinning your power steering fluid which then causes premature wear to the bearings inside the pump. Our Power Steering Cooler Kit has been specifically designed to combat the above problem and ensure your temperatures maintain a safe level. Choosing only the best possible components our kit not only cures rising power steering fluid temperatures but is built to last with no compromise on quality. During the design process of both our Power Steering & Engine Oil Cooler Kit, location and fitting played an important factor. Naturally the core’s needed to catch as much cold flowing air as possible in order for the cooling effect to be at its best, additionally it would be advantageous if the cooler could locate somewhere on the vehicle where it would not be necessary to drill into the body. After much time spent in R&D followed by a number of dyno and road tests the perfect solution was formed. The mounting brackets for both coolers fit snuggly behind the front upper grill using existing mounting points and clips already found present on the vehicle. The cooler cores can be fitted within minutes, but perhaps even more beneficial is its access to a vast amount of fast moving cold air. Each RCM Power Steering Cooler Kit is supplied with a 10 Row Setrab Core. Setrab’s cores are renowned for strength and quality, with working temperatures from -40?C to 150?C and a maximum burst pressure of 37 Bar(g), these coolers are more than qualified for the job and will provide long term reliability as well as consistent performance. Goodridge produce pre-assembled lines to our specification using their latest -6 210 Series hose. “210 Series” is a new development, based on the conventional 200 series stainless steel braided Nitrile hose, widely used in all forms of racing & our Oil Cooler Kits. The 210 series has a lightweight fibre braid, with high abrasion resistance, and is ideal for carrying power steering fluid. It is the perfect solution as a lightweight alternative to 200 series, where the robust stainless steel braid is not necessary, and weight saving is paramount. Each kit is supplied with a choice of either a “Black Hardened Powder coated” Steel or “Brushed Finish” Stainless Steel mounting bracket. Laser cut and skillfully folded into position the brackets also feature pressed fixings for the oil cooler core to attach to and swaged holes to Reduce weight and improve rigidity and strength.
Safety instructions for Erzgebirge folk art pyramids.
• The pyramids are powered by burning candles! Therefore, make sure to keep a safe distance from curtains, furniture, upholstery and other flammable objects.
• Also remember that the pyramid is not a toy for children. Operation with an open flame may only take place under the constant supervision of adults.
• We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use or failure to observe these instructions.
Instructions for operation:
• Please only use high-quality candles that guarantee even burning. (Candles)
• Drafts can significantly affect the pyramid’s operation and should therefore be avoided at all costs.
Instructions for location:
• A solid and, above all, horizontal location (floor, table, etc.) is a prerequisite for a pyramid to run smoothly.
• When setting up the pyramid, make sure that the axis of the pyramid is in a vertical position. It must also be correctly positioned in the bearing.
• The middle part of the pyramid must be able to move freely.
Storage instructions:
• To ensure that the pyramid remains functional for many years, we recommend that you store it in a dry place.
• In addition, the pyramid should not be exposed to any major temperature fluctuations during storage.
Environmental damage caused by incorrect disposal of batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. You are legally obliged to return old batteries so that proper disposal can be ensured. You can hand in old batteries at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a distributor of batteries, we are also obliged to take back old batteries, although our obligation to take back is limited to old batteries of the type that we have or have had in our range as new batteries. You can therefore either send old batteries of the aforementioned type back to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge directly in our store at the address given in the imprint.
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can. This symbol indicates that batteries must not be thrown in household waste. For batteries that contain more than 0.0005 percent mercury (HG) by weight, more than 0.002 percent cadmium (Cd) by weight or more than 0.004 percent lead (Pb) by weight, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located under the garbage can symbol.
Dispose of electrical devices in an environmentally friendly manner
Electrical devices must not be disposed of with household waste. According to the European directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment, used electrical devices must be collected separately and sent to special collection and return systems. Owners of old devices from private households can hand them in at the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities or at the return points set up by manufacturers or distributors in accordance with the ElektroG.
Make sure that no beard hairs protrude in front of or into the mouth hole, otherwise no suction can be created and the cone can suffocate.
