This is a genuine Subaru knock sensor and is located underneath the inlet manifold. As with any Subaru electronic sensor, to ensure the correct level of performance, reliability and part longevity, our advice would be to always use the genuine Subaru part and to stay away from the cheaper after market options that are available.
